All I can say is what a great experience, I learnt not just how to hold a stick and pretend to fly it, but actually controlled it (yes he had hands on all the time) but the hours classroom before was cool because you also understood how it actually worked (ask why French helicopters are different) Captain Hoff is a great instructor larger than life personality and hell yes if I didn’t get motions sickness I would do it again tomorrow

Thinking of a trial lesson with Hoff Aviation? Here’s what you can expect.
We offer either 30, 45 or 60 minute trial lessons on the two seater Robinson R22.
We will start with a preflight briefing where we talk and explain the controls of the helicopter and how it flies and then off we go!
A flight into the local area showing the use of the controls and then, YOU, the student get to fly!
We return to the airfield where you have a go at hovering the helicopter.
As an example of what you can expect, if you choose the 30 minute lesson, the actual flying part of the lesson is 30 minutes from Rotors start to Rotors stopping.
Once the lesson is completed you will then receive a Certificate.
Vouchers last for 6 months if giving for a birthday or anniversary.
Max seat weight/ student weight 15 stone/210lbs/95kg.
